Hannah Kelly
Hannah qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2002 and spent 10 years in mixed practice before opening Wood Farm Vets in 2013. In 2012 she gained her Advanced Certificate in General (Equine) Practice and became the British Endurance Team Vet. Out of work Hannah events with her ex racehorses Terry and Bunny. Her two children (Jack and Isla) are growing up fast loving the outdoors and all animals - it will be Pony Club soon no doubt!

Leila Loveday
Leila graduated from University of Liverpool in 2004 and has worked in equine and mixed practice every since - enjoying the variety of species you see each and every day. Out of work Leila spends most of her time ferrying her 3 children to cricket, football and soon pony club! Any spare moment is spent producing her horse - eventing is her passion and the knowledge this brings to every aspect of equine practice is invaluable!

Jade Wilson
Jade joined Wood Farm Vets shortly after graduating from University of Nottingham in 2018. Since joining she has been involved in all aspects of mixed practice and equally enjoys seeing all farm, equine and small animal patients. Jade is originally from rural Kent and still settling into Norfolk! When not at work she is often found riding horses, running or planning her next holiday!

Florence Gill
Florence graduated from University Edinburgh in 2001. She spent several years in equine practice and has an Advanced Certificate in Stud Medicine. Although she has now stepped into a managerial role within the practice she still gets involved with all stud work. At home she has 3 children, a dairy farm and a horse to ride!

Owen Davies
Owen graduated from University of Bristol in 1991 and has worked in small and mixed practice since, including stints in Nepal and India. He really enjoys surgery and all things goats, as well as providing invaluable farm knowledge from his Masters in Livestock Production. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, running and gardening - he has a beautiful allotment, chickens included!

Fiona Farmer
Fiona graduated from University of Liverpool and has spent time in mixed and equine practice since, including an internship at Dubai Equine Hospital. She now focuses on equine work, particularly lameness work-ups, on a part-time basis. She is currently on maternity leave having had her second child in March and is enjoying some quality time with all her boys at home.

Manuela Slamanig
Manuela graduated from the University of Vienna and has worked in equine practice since. She has a certificate in acupuncture and has started her ISELP certificate looking at equine locomotion problems. She mostly works in a teaching clinical role at University of Cambridge but still enjoys being part of our team! In her spare time she rides racehorses and has her amateur licence, as well as looking after her dogs!

Elizabeth Moore
Lizzie grew up in Norfolk and has been working in mixed animal practice since graduating from University of Cambridge in 2018. She joined the Wood Farm team at the start of 2020 and enjoys seeing both small and large animals, with a particular interest in equine medicine patients. Lizzie enjoys baking as well as going out for walks with her two dogs Millie and Ava.

Emma Winward
Emma graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2019 and spent 6 months working for another mixed practice before joining the team at the start of 2020. She enjoys the variety of mixed practice, with particular interests in diagnostic imaging, surgery and exotics! She spends her spare time riding her ex-racehorse Amy, running and bouldering.

Ellis Shelton
Ellis has grown up in Norfolk and joined the Wood Farm team after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2020. She enjoys seeing both small and large animals, with a special interest in farm and equine. In her spare time she enjoys shooting, competing in driving trials with her horse and going to agility training with her cocker spaniel Ginny.

Bunn
Kate has worked as veterinary nurse since 2002, gaining RVN status in 2004. She has been with Hannah from the very start including at a previous practice! She enjoys all aspects of mixed nursing, especially exotic species and equine work. She has 2 horses on her own - a youngster and a driving pony - as well as 2 children to look after! In her spare time she enjoys climbing mountains and supporting Northampton Saints.

Laura Kenny
Laura gained RVN status in 2015 after ten years in practice. She joined the team at Wood Farm Vets in 2016. She is a Clinical Coach, training student veterinary nurses, and she particularly enjoys cat patients. She spends her spare time looking after her menagerie of animals - horses, dogs, cats, rabbit, guinea pigs, chickens and fish!

Melissa Garrod
Melissa started at Wood Farm Vets in April 2019 and qualified as a RVN in January 2020. She gets involved in all aspects of nursing within the practice. She spends her free time with her two dogs, Belle and Quaver, and driving her vintage super dexta tractor - as well as weekends away at rallies with her family's 1922 Marshall steam engine.

Georgia Wright
Georgia joined the team in 2016 and is now a second year nursing student at CAW. She is involved in both large and small animal work, but especially enjoys small animal nursing. She loves a c-section! In her spare time, you will find her showing her Shire horses all around the country, and taking Millie the Cockapoo for country walks.
